* iMac logic boards from 2011 GDDR5 and 2010 GDDR3 systems are backward compatible and the HD 4670 as listed here will run in all A1312 computers from 2009-2011. The HD 4670 has 256mb of GDDR3 video memory so in a 2011 system that used to run an HD 6970m with 1GB/2GB of GDDR5 video memory there is a significant difference. For standard office or home school work this video card will work just fine as it does in 2009/2010 systems.
