Apple 13" MacBook Pro 2017 A1708 Logic Board 820-00840-A Core i5 2.3gHz 8GB/16GB RAM (Spares/Repair)
FAULTY spares/repair Apple genuine logic board. Pulled from a dead MacBook Pro Retina 13" Mid-2017 Space Grey (also compatible with silver model). Board part number 820-00840-A sold as is. No liquid damage on the board, it just failed to power on complete with heatsink. Core i5 2.3gHz Intel processor with 8GB or 16GB onboard RAM memory (cannot distinguish RAM without powering on) "NO SSD storage (solid state drive) included". This board had no heat damage, nor liquid damage, is whole and complete, maybe an easy fix for component level engineer and is also ideal for donor parts for another board. NO SSD included. MacBook just failed to power on one day. But the board looks in immaculate condition and has NEVER been repaired.
This logic board ideal for spare donor parts to repair existing customers boards, or for an electronics engineer to repair the board itself. with no liquid damage this may be an easy fix.

These machines have an auto boot feature which must be disabled before any work is carried out on the machine. By default this feature is disabled on all logic boards before they are stripped and will need to be re-enabled once fitted to a machine.
This is a highly static-sensitive device and replacement should not be attempted without suitable experience and anti-static precautions. DO NOT remove the heat sink from the logic board, this will void any warranty given.
This motherboard is only for the function key model which is known as the 2 TBT3 model, this stands for 2 Thunderbolt 3.0 ports. Where as the touch bar model is known as the 4 TBT3 model, which stands for 4 Thunderbolt 3.0 ports. This board will NOT fit the Touch Bar A1706 Model.
