The original and still the most sort after Retina MacBook Pro model. The Mid-2012 A1398 is powerful, fast, efficient and robust. refurbished and graded as 'C' has a couple of tiny marks on aluminium a slight small dent top left and top right (as pictured), the screen also has the infamous 'Staingate' problem.
***'STAINGATE' is only a cosmetic issue it is caused by the keyboard usually wearing the gloss coating off the glass on the Retina screen. Other causes are when previous owners use cleaning products on the screen which are too abrasive and wipe some of the gloss coating away.
 This Macbook Pro has some Staingate cosmetic blemishes on the gloss screen as seen in pictures, this Staingate issue can ONLY be seen when Macbook is switched off. When on and working the screen image is mint and immaculate as it should be. Staingate is only cosmetic and only visible when Macbook is off (see images) apart from cosmetic defects mentioned above this Macbook Pro in almost 'as new' excellent condition, however graded C because of the staingate issue on the screen. Comes with 6 month warranty against failure**

**6 month warranty does NOT cover the MacBook battery. Batteries are classed as a consumable much like inkjet printer ink cartridges, they run out after so many uses. Most Macbook batteries run over 1000-1300 cycles, however depending on use and if left for lengthy periods of time unused the battery cells can depreciate. The warranty is against Macbook failure and if cannot be put right by ourselves the unit will be replaced. Batteries are tested and checked before selling to ensure they are in perfect working condition.
